Invest
The investors program for immigrants was created in 1986 and has given 18,000 investors access to obtaining their residence status in Canada, and has resulted in more than $4,000 million Canadian dollars being directly invested. On April 1st, 1999 the program was totally modernized and simplified. Now it is one national program run by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, under the name of the relative province and territory.
As an investor in the Canadian economy, you can immediately obtain permanent residence status in Canada for you and your family.
The program for immigrant investors is focused on those experts who have capital for investing in Canada. The investor should show their experience in business and can count on a minimum patrimony of Cnd$ 800,000 and making an investment of Cnd$ 400,000, which should be deposited in the Investors Program for Immigrants of the Government of Canada with the guarantee of reimbursement of their investment without interest, at the end of 5 years.
